SPCM Creativity Challenge Opens Today

DEAR SPCM STUDENTS, PARENTS, AND FACULTY,

We are excited to announce the SPCM Creativity Challenge! This social media project is designed to spark our student’s creativity as we transition into fall semester. We want to see how imaginative our students can get with their music making.

Students, we encourage you to submit a video of the most creative musical performance you can dream up. You might play with unusual locations, costumes, or themes. You could sing with your dog, play a drum set made of pots and pans in your kitchen, or create a stage in your yard and perform a scene from your favorite musical. The more unique, the better!

GUIDELINES AND SUBMISSION

  • Create a video recording of no more than 5 minutes in length which showcases a musical talent in the most creative form you can think of!

  • Complete the Creativity Challenge Submission Google Form and attach your video.

  • Once your video has been posted, encourage all of your family and friends to “vote” for you!

UPDATE: Submissions are now being accepted through October 1, 2020! During the first week of October three winners will be chosen based on the amount of “votes” their video receives. Each like or comment on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube counts as one vote. The winners will receive an SPCM gift of their choice and will have the option to be featured on our website and social media accounts.

We look forward to seeing all of your unique talents and creations!
