Frequently Asked Questions When Hosting Tabling Events
Q: Are we outside, under a tent, or at an open table?
A: Generally speaking, our events are held outside, under a tent, to protect both our volunteers and attendees from the sun, wind, and light rain. In the event of inclement weather, festival organizers will make a call on cancellations or alternative arrangements on the day of the event.
Q: What are the set-up or tear-down needs?
A: The set-up and tear-down processes are quite straightforward and quick. We typically have a tent, table, and chairs provided. SPCM will provide all the necessary handouts and printed materials.
Q: Are there SPCM flyers and other printed materials to give out, and what message would you like us to give, verbally, to passersby?
A: Yes, we have a variety of handouts depending on the programs or classes we are promoting. As for your message, it's all about engaging with people and spreading awareness about SPCM. We provide a clipboard for gathering contact information or indicating interest in classes or trial lessons.
Thank you for considering becoming a part of the St. Paul Conservatory of Music volunteer team. We look forward to working together to bring the joy of music to our community!
