About Our Lessons
Lessons are designed to meet the needs of each student, taking into account their background and musical goals. Lessons are taught by established and recognized artist-teachers, and the administrative team ensures a great fit between each student and their teacher(s).
A Comprehensive Approach
The SPCM exposes students to everything from the theoretical and historical aspects of music, to the joys of performing. Studying in a conservatory environment enables students to participate in recitals, repertoire classes, and ensemble experiences. Students benefit from the experience of belonging to a music-making community, and an approach to learning that emphasizes cooperation over competition.
All Ages, All Levels
The SPCM features an international faculty of accomplished instructors and performers, who bring a diverse range of skills and a culture of collaboration. We accept students of all ages at beginning, intermediate, and advanced skill levels. If you are looking for something specific in an instructor, please let us know. The Registration Department is happy to help match each student with the best faculty member for their unique needs.
