Presenting our first ever Latin, Jazz, and Rhythm & Blues camp! A four-day event providing intensive instruction and ensemble coaching in Latin music, Jazz, and Rhythm & Blues, this music camp is for horn, guitar, bass, and keyboard players, drummers, and vocalists.
Faculty include Rachel Holder leading vocal Master Classes, Pete Whitman teaching Improvisation Strategies, and Gary Gratz covering the history of these musical styles. They will be joined by other faculty and students from the former McNally Smith College of Music and members of the local music community to provide expert coaching on playing these styles in small group settings. The camp will culminate in a student concert and end with a pizza party!
