Hosted by the Saint Paul Conservatory of Music
Directed by Artu Duo (Ruth Marshall & Garret Ross)
Join us for a workshop led by SPCM faculty members Ruth Marshall, cello, and Garret Ross, piano, who play together as Artu Duo. Designed for adults, this workshop is open to any ensemble that includes strings and/or piano (duo, trio, quartet, and/or quintet). Ensembles will enjoy coachings, masterclasses, and discussions with Artu Duo, with a special emphasis on creating unity and equity between strings and piano in chamber music. The workshop will include a performance opportunity for all groups, in addition to a full recital by Artu Duo.
Pre-formed groups are preferred but not necessary. If your group is larger than a quintet, please contact ruth@thespcm.org to confirm that this workshop can accommodate you. Open to any combination of piano and strings.
