Steven DeNiro

Violin

Steven DeNiro is a freelance violinist in the Twin Cities area. A native of Columbus, Ohio, he obtained degrees from the Eastman School of Music, the University of Rochester (NY), and Carnegie Mellon University. At present, he is finishing his Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Minnesota. His teachers have included Leonid Polonsky, Mikhail Kopelman, Cyrus Forough, and Sally O’Reilly.

Steven is an active chamber and orchestral musician. He has performed in various regional orchestras in Minnesota, Ohio, and Pennsylvania and as a substitute in the Columbus Symphony Orchestra (OH), Rochester Philharmonic (NY), and Minnesota Sinfonia.
