Sandy Waterman

Sandy Waterman is a pianist, folk-style harpist, ukulele player, and early childhood music specialist. Born in Minneapolis, she began studying piano at age 9, and has been a lifelong advocate for music, music education, healing through music, and connection to other learning disciplines through music. She serves as music director at Cherokee Park United Church in West Saint Paul, and is also a freelance musician, collaborating with other musicians, and a playwright, to create and perform new material. Sandy is a skilled improviser, and played for three years as a collaborative pianist at Dudley Riggs' Brave New Workshop. She lives in Vadnais Heights with three pet birds (two white doves and a zebra finch).
