Kari Peterson

Piano

Pianist Kari Peterson received her Bachelor’s degree from Concordia College, and her Master’s degree from the University of Michigan, where she studied music education, piano performance, and piano pedagogy. She has received fellowships from the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs and the Minnesota Humanities Commission to study the arts in education. Her students are active in piano and composition competitions in the Twin Cities. Kari also teaches music at Somerset Elementary School in Saint Paul, MN.
