💁‍♀️ About the concert: Join us for an enchanting evening at first ever (!) St. Paul Conservatory of Music Chamber Music Festival, featuring the illustrious LUX String Quartet. Lux's program "Modern Voices" presents three works written in the last 100 years that highlight the breadth of expression found in modern quartets: Terry Riley's G Song written in 1960, Steve Hough's Les Six Rencontres written in 2021, and Shostakovich's great 3rd quartet written in 1946. Filled with melody and imagery, this program demonstrates the intense beauty of the string quartet.
