In partnership with Saint Paul Public Libraries, SPCM presents three performances featuring SPCM faculty in libraries throughout Saint Paul!
April 6, join us for music by Son de Cuerdas - Saint Paul Conservatory of Music’s Bilingual Faculty Ensemble!
Enjoy music and celebrate Latin culture with the Saint Paul Conservatory of Music.
Learn more about classical music with an opportunity to touch and explore the musical instruments after the performance. Stay for a meal following the performance.
This Music Mosaic concert is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
More about Son de Cuerdas
Son de Cuerdas is a recently introduced Spanish/English bilingual faculty ensemble from Saint Paul Conservatory of Music that consists of harpist Ada Tzab, pianist Amos Lucidi, and cellist Omar Macias. We speak and teach in both English and Spanish and we explore Latin American, Hispanic, and Mexican repertoires. Ada and Amos are both from Mexico, and Omar was born here in the US to parents who immigrated from Mexico.
