This event has been postponed to November 12–15, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please visit this page for updated event details.

Hosted by the Saint Paul Conservatory of Music
Directed and administered by Artu Duo

At this time, the Adult Chamber Music Workshop is scheduled to operate as planned. If the workshop is cancelled due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), SPCM will refund all tuition.

Join us for a workshop led by SPCM faculty members Ruth Marshall, cello, and Garret Ross, piano, who play together as Artu Duo. Designed for adults, this workshop is open to any ensemble that includes strings and/or piano (duo, trio, quartet, and/or quintet). Ensembles will enjoy coachings, masterclasses, and discussions with Artu Duo, with a special emphasis on creating unity and equity between strings and piano in chamber music. The workshop will close with a performance opportunity for all groups, in addition to a full recital by the Artu Duo on June 13.

Pre-formed groups are preferred but not necessary. If your group is larger than a quintet, please contact ruth@thespcm.org to confirm that this workshop can accommodate you. Open to any combination of piano and strings.
