Phil Rukavina

The 2018-19 New Lute Café series, directed by Phillip Rukavina, kicks off with its first performance at The SPCM with “Tell Me True Love.” This concert features music composed by the great Elizabethan lutenist/composer John Dowland. Considered perhaps the finest composer and lutenist of his day, Dowland's songs beautifully capture both the joyful and melnacholic aspects of love.
