2024 All Ages Brass Camp

Ages: 6-year-old beginners through advanced adults
Tuition: $255 with a $75 deposit
*Includes 1 private lesson during the week

In this unique Musical Summer Camp, we encourage trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone, and tuba players of all ages and levels to attend individually, or as families. Instruction will serve beginning, intermediate, and advanced french horn, trumpet, baritone, trombone, and tuba students of all ages. Individuals, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren are all encouraged to participate in this intergenerational experience together. No prior experience is required!

The mornings will include large brass ensemble rehearsals, instrument-based masterclasses, smaller ensembles, and classes based on experience. Brass-related skills that will be improved include breathing, embouchure formation, mouthpiece buzzing, and other tone-based skills. Musical skills such as listening and blending, as well as ensemble playing, will round out each day. For young students, special music games will be offered. There will be a low-pressure performance on the last day of camp at 11 am. Family and friends are invited to attend!
