Mike Menard is an accomplished guitarist and bassist who has been playing professionally, nationally and internationally for 20 years. He also plays drums and piano. Mike plays in various bands including Johnny James and the Hall of Fames, Zed Leppelin and Come Together. Mike was the original bassist and guitarist for the Broadway musical “Power Balladz.” Mike owns and operates Menard School of Music, which offers private lessons and runs ensembles similar to School of Rock. Mike has been giving private music lessons for 20 years and was a theory professor at McNally Smith College of Music for 14 years. Mike also taught guitar at the University of Minnesota. Mike received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Minnesota. In addition to playing in bands, Mike also performs around the metro area as a solo classical and finger style guitarist.

Mike teaches private lessons in guitar, ukulele, and bass, and is available for rock band coaching.
