Kiley joined the SPCM in the fall of 2019, and is in the office weekday mornings.
Kiley Hazelton is a freelance singer, actor and voice teacher based in St.Paul, Minnesota. She graduated with honors from Concordia College (bachelor of music in vocal performance) and the USC-Thornton School of Music (master of music in vocal arts and opera). At USC Kiley worked as a student voice instructor for undergraduate students and underwent extensive training in voice pedagogy. While at USC she served as an administrative assistant for the Dean’s office, the Thornton Community Engagement Program, and the following departments: vocal pedagogy, vocal arts, keyboard, strings, and classical guitar. She was selected as a member of the Thornton School of Music Board of Councilors Mentorship Program and was mentored under Christopher Koelsch, CEO and President of LA Opera. She sat on the College Advisory Committee of LA Opera and helped plan and execute events and outreach programs. Kiley was a founding member of the USC chapter of the Student National Association of Teachers of Singing for which she served as a vice president and secretary. She is a member of the music honors society, Pi Kappa Lambda- Eta Chapter, and is a graduate of the National Center of Voice and Speech’s Summer Vocology Institute.
